Early Intervention Services
If an infant or toddler has a disability or a developmental delay in one or more of his or her developmental areas, that a child will likely be eligible for early intervention services. Those services will be tailored to meet the child’s individual needs and may include:

Assistive technology applied to education is extremely broad, encompassing "any item, piece of equipment, or product system whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities."
